News & Notes The roses on the organ this morning are for June Lightner who was born to Kris and Carley Lightner on July 12th, for Garrett Michael Boyum to Jon and Carrie Boyum on September 8th and for Maddie Pluntz who was adopted on August 14, 2007 by Rich and Allison Pluntz. Congratulations to you all! Kids in grades 1-6: Sign up for Creekside Clubs TODAY! Clubs start this Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Please register TODAY in the gym during the fellowship time or in the foyer following the 2nd service. Parents must sign the reg. card. Any questions, contact Beth Brown. Are you getting ready for 40 Days of Community? It is all starting on Sunday, Sept. 21. Don't wait. Start praying and join an ABF and pick up your 40 Days Devotional book today. (Suggested donation: $5). Looking for a small group? We are assembling small groups to begin the week after Sept. 28th. If you are looking to be a part of a small group, please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Jennifer Bartle at (612) 824 5120. Youth Group and Creekside Clubs start this Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30 PM. All adults are invited to a "Fall Gathering" Friday, September 19 at 7:00PM. We had a great time last year learning folk and square dances with a live caller. Bring a treat to share. Calling Potential Small Group Leaders! 40 Days of Community is coming fast and we are looking for 5-10 new group hosts. If you are willing to open your home and make friends with a few new people, we'd love to talk to you about leading a 7 week small group! Training is provided, Saturday, Sept. 20th, 9-12PM. Seniors Singles September lunch will be September 21st at 1:00 at the Lakeshore Grill Restaurant, (Macy's Lower Level). The women of the church and friends and family of Melissa Wray are invited to a bridal shower in her honor to be held at church on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 3-5 p.m. Melissa and Aaron Rusnak will be married at First Free on October 4.
