God's Explanation: "HE HAS RISEN!"

"He has risen" means that . . .

• Death has been DEFEATED!

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (I Cor. 15:54-55; NIV)

• The whole person will be REDEEMED!

"He (Jesus) said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." (Luke 24:38-39; NIV)

• We will all be CHANGED!
